  4. Add minced garlic and broccoli florets, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is tender-crisp.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, brown sugar, cornstarch, and red pepper flakes (if using).
  6. Return the cooked beef to the skillet, pour the sauce over it, and stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and broccoli.
  7. Serve hot over a bed of cooked rice.
