  • 250g Gruyère cheese, grated

  3. Place the fondue pot on low heat and pour in the white wine and lemon juice. Heat until hot but not boiling.
  4. Gradually add the cheese mixture, stirring continuously in a figure-eight motion until the cheese is melted and the mixture is smooth.
  5. Add a pinch of nutmeg and season to taste.
  6. Transfer the pot to a tabletop burner and serve with assorted dippers.
